HAWAII SWARMS OF EARTHQUAKES COULD TRIGGER VOLCANO ERUPTION.

Over the Last 24 Hours i have noticed a swarm of Earthquake around the Island of Hawaii. The snapshot image above shows the Total Earthquakes rumbling Hawaii in the Last day. Total being 10 ranging from 1.9 to 3.0 magnitude.

Over the Last 7 days period we can see that the Island has been active, with a total of 62 Quakes largest being 4.1 magnitude.

When earthquakes start to increase in and around a Volcanic area this is an early warning sign of a Volcanic Eruption, So this is just a heads up..

God Bless you all.. Amen

Huge sinkhole in N.Carolina Keeps road closed, and keeps Growing

A Sinkhole that has forced the closure of a road in Chatham County for three weeks is growing, and state Department of Transportation officials said it could be another two-and-a-half months before the road is fixed.

According to DOT officials, old pipes underneath Lystra Road – which crosses Jordan Lake near Pittsboro – gave way on Jan. 18, at first creating a sinkhole that took up about half of one lane.

Lunar New Year Chinese Landslide leaves at least Six Dead.

Six people have been confirmed dead after a landslide buried a two-storey block of flats in south China earlier today.

There were 15 households living at the site in Fude village, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, the People's Daily Online reports.

Local authorities are investigating the cause of the landslide and have ordered a thorough inspection for hidden safety hazards.

Emergency services were informed of the landslide at 3.25am on Monday, which is the first day of the Lunar New Year currently being celebrated across the country.

The death toll was raised to six after four people considered missing were later confirmed dead.

One villager named Lan Min, spoke with Chinese media saying: 'I felt the house was shaking. I thought it was an earthquake and told my family to rush out.'

China has a history of deadly landslides.

In December last year, a landslide in Shenzhen killed over 69 people and left 6 missing. Authorities in China have arrested 11 officials in connection with the incident.

While in August 2010, 1,287 people died after a landslide in Gansu province.

Storm Imogen Batters England and Wales

Storm Imogen battered parts of England and Wales with powerful winds and downpours Sunday night into Monday.

The storm caused more than 14,000 power cuts, according to the BBC. The brunt of the outages have occurred across the South West of England where nearly 10,000 homes lost power.

Travel disruptions have been widespread across the southern U.K. including rail delays, flight delays and road closures due to flooding and high winds.

Several Cornwall schools were closed or evacuated due to power cuts and storm damage. Two children were injured when a wall collapsed onto them amid the dangerous weather, according toThe Guardian.

Downpours from Imogen hit areas that were already soaked by heavy spells of rain and resulted in numerous flood warnings. Wales, the South West of England and the Midlands were hit the hardest by heavy rain and flooding incidents.

Rainfall surpassed 25 mm (1.00 inch) in Shap and Odiham in England and approached 50 mm (2 inches) in Capel Curig and Lake Vyrnwy in Wales.

The strongest winds have topped 80 mph across the Isle of Wight, Isles of Scilly and Wales. The highest wind gust recorded is 96 mph at Needles Old Battery on Isle of Wight.

Cornwall reported a peak wind gust of 79 mph during Imogen. Greater London experienced frequent wind gusts of 40-50 mph with a peak gust of 59 mph at London City Airport.

Coastal Wales and southern England also had to deal with phenomenal seas. Seas of 8-10 meters were seen in these areas, and the Met Office reported a maximum wave height of 19.1 meters off the coast of St. Ives, Cornwall.

Conditions will continue to improve into Tuesday morning as Imogen departs, allowing winds to lessen and rainfall to become more showery.
